As they gear up to rock the Blind Beggar tonight in support of Calgary’s first ever Blank-Fest charity event, the people at the Calgary Herald were gracious enough to print a quick review of Dreams of Reason’s latest offering, Radically Poetic. Entertainment writer, Mike Bell describes the band as a mixture of modern melodic hard rock and 90’s influences ranging from Default to Pearl Jam. On behalf of the guys, thanks Mike! We’re all glad that you like the new album as much as we do.

October 15, 2011 – DOR.com Explodes!

WOW. Thanks to everyone out there for showing the guys of Dreams of Reason such huge support. www.dreamsofreason.com is averaging over 12,000 visits per month thanks to all of you die hard D.O.R. fans! We’ve had a lot of feedback about the band’s “Uncaged” song, especially from all you Occupiers out there. Thanks for all the Tweets about the song, but in response to all of the questions out there, here’s what vocalist Chris Perkins had to say about the lyrics: “No the song is not about the Occupy Protest, but it was written about the G20 riots that broke out in Toronto about a year ago. It’s not so much a protest against corporate greed as it is a reaction to the oppression and the brutality displayed during the G20 situation. We appreciate you guys taking the tune and making it your anthem!”
